Do we have to wait for the AOR in order to link PR application submitted through the PR Online Portal? Or it can be done immediately?

Thank you. I am not in PGP 2022, I will be PGP 2023 as I start prepping the application. Wanted to check how long the wait is going to be now from here.

It took me 2 days minus one year from the date I got the invitation. Some people got it sooner than that. In the end it all depends how simple your case is i.e documentation. Also it depends a lot on how promptly you provide all the info that IRCC requests.

I was SO prompt the day after they asked for old school records and all old passports, ALL were sent and no movement of the file. I doubt anyone is looking at them, when I emailed/called them they responded with yes, all documents are ready for officer review.

Hello everyone, asking for a friend.. its the pgp 2022 application, what is the next step after he received this passport with pr visa stamped “ did he still received another email from ircc to confirm permanent residence.. her mom pr is approved in cic account but no emails received from ircc to create the pr portal thanks for the answer

Who is "he"?
whoever got the passport with vsia stamped needs to complete the PR landing process by traveling and landing in Canada before the expiry date.
Who is the principle applicant? Who is the dependent? Sounds like mom is inside Canada but is mom the PA or the dependent?

My timeline is the following:

December 23rd 2022: sent application
Feb 14: Request from CIC to resend completed additional family information form for both parents, and sponsorship form to be resigned, use of rep form required again, needed to be signed again or something. It was strange the initial portal showed returned but no way to update or add documents again. so had to send via email.
April 13: Same letter above sent and responded to within 3 days or so, again.
June 1st week: Was able to link application
June 1st week: Received AOR (or what I believe is AOR, which asks for the financial form again but also states they have received the application. The X before the file number is removed)
August 1st week: Asking "Please provide a copy of yours and your parent's Passports and old school records."
Responded the day after with all passport copies and all old school records of parents, sponsor's old school records and passports etc.

Called up CIC/IRCC not sure what I called, a nice man picked up and said that all documents have been received and waiting for review, after another month an agent responded stating the same that all documents have been received and waiting for review in Missg.

Linking application on GCKEY was not useful as no way to upload documents that were asked, neither do we see the documents uploaded that were sent via email in response to the letters.

I assume we are still waiting for Sponsorship approval, medical request, police clearance.

Hi guys! IRCC asked for police certification which was uploaded via web form, uploaded passport copy front and back page. Medical of dad is done October 14 at ludiana Punjab. They gave us tracking number and said to check status of being submitted online? Did anyone get that too?
after these steps what is the next step? When are they asking for passport submission request? Biometric were waved >79 years. much appreciated.

Where does it mention about tracking number? My parents got their Medical done on Oct 11th.
Received letter today for Sponsorship approval. No separate request for PCC but it states in this Sponsorship approval letter to provide with PCC along with Medical and other documents (which are already submitted). Is this standard language of their letter?

Did you folks apply through that Online PR Residence Portal as well for last year or paper application? Will it show application status once submitted or the application still needs to be linked through the GC account? Thanks in advance.

Application submitted: Dec 23, 2022
Requested re-sign on a for: Feb 15, 2023
Submitted re-signed form: Mar 13, 2023
Documents added confirmation: Mar 16, 2023

No update/AOR since then. Please add it to the spreadsheet.
