When they say sign electronically , It basically mean you need to type the name as per passport .

HI, we are in the middle of parent sponrship ofy father in law. We have now received medical exam request for him. We have also received a request for medical exam for my brother in law who is 38 years old and is not a dependent anymore. He has no intentions of moving to Canada. I am looking for help to understand why he needs to go through medical exam when he is not a dependent?

I think IRCC is having some kind of issue , they have done this to many other people, check out 2021 forum you will get some answer from there .

Based on last year's trend, 5 - 6 months.

I just submitted electronically 2 weeks ago, best part is that mom is US citizen so easy for her to come and stay with me for 6 months.

Can you give me the date please, so I can add you to the tracker? It should be on the portal where you submitted the application, in case you do not recall.

I submitted application November 5th and now waiting for AOR

Thanks for the replies. My mom has just done her examinations and paid $337.00
My next move is to wait. If the officer denies it, I will tey to reassess 2018 tax report.
If it smells like I will be in trouble, I will simply withdraw the application.
