Wtf, it seems I didn’t get invited last year either. Sad.Yes that did send invite Last year in Oct
so I assume they will invite the remaining next year also.

I used the same email for interest to sponsor, PR portal and IRCC acc(for linking), easier for me to keep track and won't miss any emails.I am confused about the using the online permanent residency portal, and would appreciate guidance on the following:
- should I use the primary applicant (my dad) email address or mine used in 2020 interest to sponsor form for the portal set-up?
Correct. only one portal account.- my understanding is that the sponsor forms will be uploaded in the same online application of my parents. Is this correct or do I need to create a separate application for sponsor (myself)?
safe guess is after you receive acknowledge of receipt.- when should I link the application to IRCC account?
One application cannot be linked to two accounts simultaneously. But nothing stops you from sharing credentials.- can both me (sponsor) and my dad (primary applicant) link the application to respective IRCC accounts?
For sure include that. It's just like any CV.do we need to specify different job titles held within the same company?
My mom worked for the same organization till she retired and she doesn't remember the months when she got promotions during her tenure.
Insurance is still cheaper than the actual cost if they get sick/need to be hospitalized. We paid 50K... for 1 operation.. (bad travel insurnace that didn't cover the actual operation and we found out after the fact.... they told us to give them provincal health contact... and my MIL signed the final settlement without knowing that ONLY the emergency admission fee was covered.... 5K)insurance is super expensive Specially if they have any pre existing condition like heart issue or some thing else
either that or you pay out of pocket. And many cannot affort paying out of pocket. That's why IRCC required super visa insurance. For older parents it is hard to get medical insurance or very expensive
Which one as between the mother and father being PA of sponsorship application.I beg to differ. The combined household income is considered for LICO but for example, I cannot sponsor my in-laws. So I cannot be primary if my in-laws have to be sponsored
"i would say you" - Agreed (not what IRCC says)if you were fully qualified in 2020 in terms of minimum income requirement i would say you have not taken any one else spot . Good Luck to every one who have applied and still waiting lets hope they gets better and accept more application each year .
interest to apply/sponsor was only opened back in 2020. The draw in the previous years since 2020 was from the same pool that submitted interest in the 2020 pool. IRCC draw sponsors from the pool and sent out invitation to apply. They just finished sending out invitation for 2022 PGP applications. Is anyone able to help my understand how to apply for this or is it closed? I get to the following site but no option to apply https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/family-sponsorship/sponsor-parents-grandparents/tell-us-you-want-sponsor-parent-grandparent.html does it mean it is closed? If so how does one know when it opens or when to apply?
You got lucky and didn’t get caught when you keep brewski g the rules. One day you will. On the 2020 interest to sponsor forms it does say that you must make over LICO amount in 2017, 2018 and 2019 to qualify.Well thank god you are not employed at IRCC. Did you ever had a chance to look at the 'interest to sponsor' form in 2020? it never had any such clause or personal attestation about income requirement (else it would be a falsification to submit that form) The form only asked for personal details about sponsor and applicants. I have screenshots of that form too. Its named 'interest to sponsor' for a reason.
IMM5748e - 2022 is the form for PGP income eligibility you can google it and take a look. According to your hypothesis, IRCC is incorrect by only asking 3 yrs income details?
If you remember you were the one who gave me a strict advice not to travel over a month during spousal sponsorship or else my application would be denied. I was out of country for 3+ months and my application got approved within 8 months. I have received at least 10 messages in here from different members confirming the same. I will again come back to the same forum and comment as soon my PGP application is approved.
Instead of digging my previous posts, you must gain some real world experience and not create your own rules here. Again not to forget you had helped me out in the past when I was stuck a few times, so many thanks for that.
To apply to enter to enter the 2020 PGP pool you had to meet LICO for 2017, 2018 and 2019. That is just fact. Those who didn’t shouldn’t be part of the 2022 draw. Whether they will get away with it is another story. If someone didn’t get selected wants to sue IRCC based on many failing to meet requirements for 2017, 2018 and 2019 being selected in the 2022 draw you likely have a case. We saw others get a spot when they sued due to FIFO so if you’re a lawyer or have the cash and are desperate to get a spot then would contact a lawyer at least for a consultation. This is all ur assumptions so keep getting annoyed. Criteria is 2019-21 and if u meet its all fine and i know real cases who got approved in 2021
When you applied in 2020 you didn’t meet the requirements so we’re not supposed to submit an EOI. You posted proof that you weren’t entitled to submit an EOI.Why so much negativity? Its not like someone who purchase their first lottery hit jackpot and other person has spent all their life buying lottery and never won.
There is no such loop hole or no one took your spot, the guidelines are in plain English. Let me try this one last time.

Before submitting 'interest to sponsor' the following links will help to determine if you are eligible to sponsor. If you click on the below 'eligible to sponsor' or 'minimum necessary income requirements.' then you will end up in link# 2

Here’s what you need to know if you’re interested in sponsoring your parents or grandparents:
***************************************************************************************************************************************************************
- The interest to sponsor form is not an application. - So no need to fulfil eligibility criteria until you apply after ITA
- The form is a way to inform IRCC you are interested in sponsoring your parents or grandparents. - Plain and simple
- As a potential sponsor, you need to ensure that you are eligible to sponsor before you submit an interest to sponsor form. This includes making sure that you meet the minimum necessary income requirements. - After receiving ITA you are potential sponsor
- Submitting the form more than once will not increase your chances of being invited to apply. All duplicate submissions will be removed.

You, the sponsor (and your co-signer, if you have one) must prove you have enough income to support all the people you’ll be financially responsible for once you become a sponsor. This includes yourself.
If you’re invited to apply, you have to provide proof that you meet the income requirements for each of the 3 tax years before the date you apply.
We can’t assess whether you meet the income requirements until you apply (if you’re invited).
Note: For the 2022 process, we’ll assess sponsors on their income for tax years 2021, 2020 and 2019.
***************************************************************************************************************************************************************
The highlighted text clearly tells you that, if you submit the 'interest to sponsor' and ONLY 'if you are invited' you are required to provide previous 3 yrs of tax statements. Until you are not invited you don't need to meet the eligibility criteria, you have intimated IRCC that you are interested to sponsor and that's all. IRCC is very clear stating they cant assess income requirements until you apply for which you have to be invited in the first place.
Wishing you good luck
Do you know when it will open again or how one can keep up with updates to know when to apply if it opens up again? I take it this the only way to sponsor parents?interest to apply/sponsor was only opened back in 2020. The draw in the previous years since 2020 was from the same pool that submitted interest in the 2020 pool. IRCC draw sponsors from the pool and sent out invitation to apply. They just finished sending out invitation for 2022 PGP applications.
This is the only regular way to sponsor parents. (Some apply inland with H&C... Almost forgot that way. But that's after all possible way has been tried. If H&C is refused, it's hard for parents to even visit after. ) Many wait for years to get lucky and be drawn in the lottery.Do you know when it will open again or how one can keep up with updates to know when to apply if it opens up again? I take it this the only way to sponsor parents?
You are misinterpreting what they said."i would say you" - Agreed (not what IRCC says)
