Were you provided with an application number? If yes, you the application number to check the status via IRCC contact center.

- The only application number I have is the one quoted when asking me for additional information for form (IMM 5768) in this format- XFxxxxxxxxx
- When you say IRCC contact center do you mean the "Web Form"? I have already sent a request using the Web Form and quoting the number above

When I called and followed the prompt, I got to know that background check is in progress while eligibility hasn't started. I am yet to receive AOR.

@lanreade Thanks a lot; I actually used the phone prompt and spoke to an agent. She said the application is still in process and no further action is required. She also said I had no pending documents and my sponsorship eligibility was being assessed. Thanks Lanre "if u be naija --- I hail o"

Application was submitted on October 24, no update no mail Or email from ircc. Only the one after my submission to let me know my application is submitted successfully, and the one Close to the due to remind me about the submission if i have not done so.

Anyone has the same situation. Lots of sponsors submitted later than me all received aor Or missing from, i have not had any news from ircc. Worried

We applied in December 22 and got AOR in March 23, since than nothing Heard .
In gckey it shows status as submitted,but when we click view button, it is not working, may be locked whereas in last month it was opening , what can be the possibile reason.

the processing time starts from the time the application is submitted till Landing paper is issued, or from the time AOR is sent?

Hi All,

I need your advice; see timeline below...
- Submitted Original Application Nov 2022
- Received request via email for incomplete (IMM 5768 - Form was not signed) on 20th Dec 2022
- I resubmitted my parents application via the PR portal on 21st Dec 2022
- I missed the part of the email that said we should send the updated document via email within 30 days.

My Worry...
- I have not heard anything back from IRCC
- I just logged in to parents PR application portal, and status reads "Submitted" -21st Dec 2022 (my second submission date)
- The submitted application is locked I cant access the or view my application field/docs/details
- I also just filled out the web inquiry form (11th may 2023) to find out what my faith would be (note that I did not attach any documents).

Questions...
- Is my application cancelled or returned?
- What does this mean, Is the application still in process, What's your best guess as to what is happening?
- Can you advise me further?

We are similar to your situations. Applied earlier Nov, received signed representative form on early Dec and submitted within couple of days. Since last week we were able to link the application and see status online (Says received on early Nov, application is under processing with bio metetric info blank).

After the signed form request, we have not heard anything from them. Last week after we were able to link the application we update our file with the new passport, for a dependent, that were issued after we applied. We received an auto reply as well as one more reply,

As my parents ages they may not need biometrics, my question is after providing PCC, normally how long will I receive Medical Exam request?
