Hi All,

I applied intent to sponsor my mom and similarly, my wife showed intent to sponsor her mom.
Both of us got the invite to sponsor our parent yesterday . So I need to show income for 4 people.

We both have good salaries now and get a combined income of $135000/yr now, which is way above the expected LICO. But only in 2019, the income is less by required 4000$(See in RED).

In there any way my application for mom & mother-in-law, with my wife as co-signer be accepted.

I didn't expect both of them to get the invite at the same time. Kindly help with your suggestions!!

You meet LICO or you don't. There are no exceptions so your application will be refused if you apply for both parents.

So need to get some clarification.
Both you and your wife each only have a mother that's alive and you want to sponsor. Is that correct?
And each mother do not have any spouse or dependent?

So you met income for 3 in family size for all 3 years but not 4.

That's correct!! But mine and my wife's income is less and I need to have my wife as co-signer and similarly for her if she applies, I need to be the cosigner.

Then you need a family meeting. Only 1 of the mothers can be sponsored this time.
If you submit both, both applications will be refused since your income do not meet that for family of 4.

And we have seen ppl posting here for refusal because they are less than $1000 below the required incomet. Some got lucky and went thru appeal and some file H&C with lawyers. I don't know the out come of those.

Understood. So unfortunately can't do much. My mom-in law has her supervisa for the timebeing.

I easily meet the lico for 3 but not 4 persons for year 2019.

If your husband go selected he can sponsor his parents. If the application where you were the primary applicant had been selected then you could apply for your parents. Did you and your husband both apply to sponsor parents?

No just for my parents, my husband parents are already citizens here.

Yes a friend of mine in ON received around 1:30 pm his time.

The program hasn't opened.

I submitted my intention October 13 2020 and today got email with invite.

You only need to provide pages with anything meaningful, visas, entry stamps, amendments etc. That's what I did and no complaints from IRCC.
I saw your post in another thread so might just answer it here:
For multiple passport holders, stick to ONE. Use this passport throughout the PR application and make sure it's not expiring in 6 months.
Also if they hold a passport from a visa exempt country, use that one will save a little trouble at the end. When the passport request comes, they don't need to submit the passport to stamp, just a photocopy of the info page.
