Hi,
I am planning to apply for my parents PR under the Parents/ Grand Parents Sponsorship program but I believe it takes around 20-24 months. Do you know if I can also apply for a Visitor Visa for my parents or parents-in-law during the same time or should it be an issue?

Regards,
Jit

No issue. Our PGP 2017 took less than 20 months.

You'll need to wait until you are a PR before you can enter the lottery.

You must meet the income requirements for the last three years and be able to show this through CRA returns.

More information below:

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...rship/sponsor-parents-grandparents/apply.html

so the income requirements for the last 3 years after PR or before the PR (income under work permit

It can be pre-PR as long as it was in Canada and is in your NOA. IRCC uses CRA tax returns to confirm you have sufficient income.

Hi,
I am planning to apply for my parents PR under the Parents/ Grand Parents Sponsorship program. Will my father and mother be 2 separate principle applicants? if Yes, then do I need to submit 2 separate imm1344e form (one for my father and one for my mother).

I assume you have received an invitation.

It's one application. Pick one of your parents as the primary applicant.

what about IMM1344 e (sponsership), one application or different individually

I have a question. Are Parents need to be here in Canada for submitting documents?

NO, they are not required to be here in Canada...

NO, they are not required to be here in Canada...
Thanks, Inder. How can we submit the forms signed by a principal applicant and Sponsor together, If the principal applicant is not in Canada?
Can we send forms with scanned copies?

Back then, we prepared the form, printed them and couriered the ones that need signature to them. Then with the photos and the signed forms, they couriered back. We reviewed them again, arrange them in the right order and sent off the application in 1 package.
