Hello Friends

Me and and my husband are permanent residents in Canada. We are planning to apply visiting visas for both our parents ( 4 applicants) together.
They will be staying with us. They have documents to show enough funds and ties in India. Do we need to show sufficient bank balances in Canada ? Is there any requirement like we should show 2000 cad balance for each applicant which would mean we should have 8000 cad bank balance in our accounts? We have documents to support our proof of income like pay slips, t4 and employment letter. But we do not have enough bank balances. Will this be a problem and a reason for rejection?

You should be fine as long as they show strong ties to back home, such as home, property, business, investment, land etc will be very helpful to make their case strong.

You and your husband can include yours employment letters, pay slips, T4, make a meaningful invitation letter and try to show good purpose of visit. I haven't heard about something minimum fund requirement such as 2000 CAD.

Hope this helps.
