Parents and Grandparents

I submitted my parents’ PR under the parents and grandparents lottery 2020. File is almost completed. Passports in the embassy for COPR.
My dad passed away who’s the PRINCIPAL APPLICANT unfortunately.
I have already updated the IRCC thru web form.

What will happen next ?
Will they change my mother to principal applicant?
If yes, how long does it takes for the process again.

Any idea what happens next !!!

Your mother will become the primary applicant. You should be sending IRCC your father’s death certificate.

Impossible say whether IRCC will stamp and return with COPR or will require your mother to resubmit her passport once changed to primary applicant and cancel the previous COPRs if already awarded.
