All,

I am at last stages for preparing my parents application. I have a question & hoping to get help.

both my parents will have to upload notarised passport copies. they have a new passport with no stamps and previous passport has no active visas.

Instructions say

"
Passports

  • Copies of passports for people being sponsored should include all the pages.
"

do i have to get them to scan all blank pages and have them notarised as well?

many thanks in advance.
YES ALL BLANK PAGES

I'm sponsoring my parents (mother and father) to Canada.

1. IMM 5669 - Schedule A: Background/Declaration -
Should I add details about my brother in this form, who is not a dependent of my parents?

2. Biometrics - My parents applied for their Canada Visitor Visa in 2016. They gave their BIOMETRICS then, however I don't know their UCI number. Should I pay the biometric fee as well for my parents?

3. IMM 5476 - one of the common mistakes talks about - "
If using a representative, this form must be provided by both the sponsor and the principal applicant. For sponsorship applications, you must complete and provide separate forms for the sponsor and principal applicant."
  • what does the above mean - while submitting this form electronically, do I have to upload two (exact same replicas) copies of this form?
4. Passports - one of the common mistakes talks about - "Copies of passports for people being sponsored should include all the pages."
  • does this mean I've to scan each and every page of my parents passports?

3.That's if you are using a paid representative or someone else. In this case both forms are required. For the sponsor and the person being sponsored.

If you want to serve as a representative for your parents then one form is enough.

4. ALL PAGES.

Questions regarding IMM5768e:

What should I be mentioning under current undertakings?
What should I be mentioning under Previous undertakings?

I never have sponsored anyone, and also under point #9: What should I enter? Should I enter my parents details or not (does it consider not yet in effect)
Details of your family members and persons included in undertakings in effect or not yet in effect signed by you and if applicable, your cosigner.

Please help!
Can someone please help with this info?

3. I went through this already. If you are your parents representative, you are supposed to fill it and then whoever is the principal applicant too fills their part. At the end there is a space for principal applicant and spouse to sign.

Hi Dear parent/grandparent sponsors.

This probably has been asked 1000 times, however I tried to google the forum threads and could not find the answers:

1) Form IMM 1344e Main Application to Sponsor - I am applying online. When the form is filled out and approved, it says that the digital signatures will be applied when I upload the form, yet the guide says it needs to be printed and signed by me (sponsor) and parent - the applicant.
How does it really work?

2) Form IMM 5768 Financial Evaluation - Shall I print the signing page, sign and scan, then attach it back or will my digital signature (not sure how they have it) be applied there too?

3) In the IMM 5768, Question 14 (I don't have a cosigner btw). I worked at one job for the last 3 tax reporting years. However my family size has changed in the middle. Do I split this working period in two parts?

i.e. Period 1 - Same job - X summed gross income for the period, N - family size
Period 2 - Same job - Y summed gross income for the period, N+1 - family size

Thanks in advance and apologies for a long question!
Just following up on the above

Hello,

I expressed interest to sponsor my parents under Parents and GrandParents program last year 2020 and I'm invited to apply to sponsor for my Parents and GrandParents program

CIC advised to fill the forms and submit as per the checklist imm5771e

The question I have is, do I need to fill forms separately, each for my dad and for my mom?

Or does my invitation only applies for one parent? Or should I list one of them as dependent?

Or Do I need to start new application for each one of them?

Please advise

You need to create an online account and upload the forms and required documents.
It is for both parents. One of them will be the principal applicant and the other one is the dependent
