Hello Guys - If we receive invitation for parents, can I apply PR to my wife's parents? Is it allowed? Can anyone advise me?

Nope, you can only sponsor your parents on your invitation.

Who receive invitation for whose parents.

If you receive invitaion for your parents, you can apply PR for your parents.
If your wife received invitaion for her parents, she can apply PR for her parents.

Both of you can co-sign for each others parents.
