Please update: dhillozcanada22 #2

Application Recvd - May 29, 2019
Biometrics request - June 10, 2021
Medical Request - June 11, 2021

Finally after two years some movement in the file.
I'm also May 29, 2019 applicant. My mom's medical passed one year ago, likely expired now. No other updates. Impossible to understand the workings of ircc.

Hi everyone. My wife's parents received their COPR 4 months ago(Outside Canada). However, because of the Covid situation, they could not travel to Canada to do their landing.

My wife is a Canadian citizen. Are my wife's parents allowed to land given that their COPR is issued after march 18,2020 ? In other words, are they exempt from travel restrictions as their daughter (immediate family member) is a Canadian citizen ?

May 29, 2019 applicant here. My mom (widow) living alone in Delhi. Her medical was done 1 year ago. I'm terrified that IRCC that slept on her file will ask her to repeat. I don't know how I will ask her to do it again given the very bad C19 situation there. Did u request an extension?
Yes...I have requested and awaiting response.

Hi All:

I am looking for urgent help with respect to the biometric request I have received for my father. My father is in India and currently, VFS biometric centers are closed due to this pandemic situation. The biometric booking was open earlier today just for few hours but it was only for the Student application (Application number starting with S, for example, S123456789). I was getting an invalid application number (application number starting with F) for my father. It is again closed and there is no information available online. The biometric is due end of July but I am a little concerned with the current situation and the delay. I checked another forum and someone suggested checking the neighboring country (for example Nepal) to get the biometrics done. I don't think going to another country is a very viable option. Should I contact IRCC to extend the biometric window? If yes then what is the best way? Please advise.

Once VACs resume services, clients will be able to use their expired Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) &/or expired Passport Request Letter to enroll for biometrics &/or submit passports.

IRCC requested medical for my parents last week and we completed it yesterday. Usually medical report is sent to IRCC directly by the hospital, but as per following instructions, do we need to submit anything (e.g. e-medical information sheet) on our own?

Hello Experts,

Can you still do biometrics with old/expired passport (which is on the application) or you need to get the new passport in order to do the biometrics?

Thanks!

Looking for the link to the tracker but can’t seem to find it.

I see today on eCas that my MILs application has changed from “Application Received” to “In Process.” When I click on the link, it doesn’t tell me the date it changed status. It just shows the last note about requesting additional information. MyCIC doesn’t have any information. What is likely to happen next and how soon?
