Thanks for your suggestions! I'm planning to rent somewhere else for 14 days and let my parents quarantine at my condo by themselves. Is there any need to let my parents show my Airbnb or hotel reservation in their quarantine plan, or they could just declare they would quarantine by themselves? My only concern is that I don't want to reserve hotel that early given lots of uncertainties these days and I would prefer to go the hotel once I know that my parents successfully land even though this could cost more.

i believe they will have to provide a Canadian address so they can use your address and they can just say their son is staying at a hotel. I dont think they will care about the specifics of where you are staying.

Question for those whose medical was passed. When you look at your online mycic account do you see one record which says "your medical is passed" for both applicants or there's a separate entry, say twice?

it only says it once.

Is any one else is in the same boat as me . I applied in June 2019 and application received status since then ,

I am in same situation , still application received after biometric since Feb

Hello,
I am not sure who is experiencing the same as me, but:
We summited Biometrics on Oct 21st and medical a couple of weeks ago and
still saying:

• Review of medical results
  • We have requested a medical exam. Check your messages below for details.
• Biometrics
  • We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message for details.

Also, on top right corner, you can clearly see Biometrics number and date....
I just don't know if this is normal...

Medicals expired in December

Today I got a new message in my account asking to do medicals again in 90 days.

Also, noticed that they changed one line in ECAS:

1. We started processing xxxxxx's application on January 19, 2021. (before it was Nov 19, 2019)

Good News: CPC M is back in action and has opened our file again
Bad news: Have to again do medicals in this pandemic!

Same, File recieved June 20th. Says incprocess since August 2020

Similar story here. App received Jun 26 2019 and AOR on Sept 14 2020. Nothing since then... Parents are in Belgium.

None whatsoever. I just called and emailed our MP, after reading through some of the other comments here. The processing timeline on CIC's website still says 20-24 months and it's been over 19 months for and we don't even have Sponsor Approval... I'm going to order GCMS notes too. I've done the freedom of information act request twice but there wasn't really anything there of substance other than they have the application... I do realize that our application was sent in very close to the deadline (received 2 days before the deadline) so we are at the back of the line. But we had to wait till my daughter was born in early June 2019 so we could add her as a dependent...

Yeah, I think ordering GCMS notes is the best way forward. I have called the IRCC call center numerous times, they seem to have zero information at all.
