Hi Guys,

Need your help. In my CIC account, under Review of additional document, shows that,

"We need additional documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details" .

Is this a common scenario? I have never reviewed a message requesting anything.

Please respond if anyone has seen this before.

I have the same thing and I never received any request. I'm thinking to call CIC to check if it's a glitch or they need additional document?

Ecas available today with application received for both Sponsor and Applicant.

I also just linked the application in MYCIC which shows:

Review of eligibilityHelp - Review of eligibility

• Your application is in progress.

Maybe a silly question but is this what people have been calling "in process"?

Hey, so In Process is a status that will replace Application Received to show that your file is being reviewed. The Sponsorship application's status will change to Decision Made when you've been approved to sponsor. You'll see DM one to a few days after you get the Biometrics request letter in your MyCIC account.

I am having issues linking my application to CIC, therefore i have a question that once the IME passed do they update on ECAS or Send email, or do they just update on MY CIC about it.
I called the doctors office to ask on the 4th day after the Lab tests and they told me to wait for 10 days i am just anxious if everything went well not trying to be impatient.

With the information I know like UID and personal information, can I add this application in to my CIC account before receiving official application number from CIC?

Yes, I was finally able to access Ecas yesterday and also linked MYCIC without a file number. I just used PA passport info and UCI. Some people for some reason were not able to link before receiving AOR, but it's worth a try.
