Hello Macwhitby, I don't understand, how did you check ECAS ? I don't have any reference or number except my receipt number but this didn't work with me. Please advise.
I can check my ecas with UCI and file # start with "F" but unable to check ecas with receipt # start with "R"

Also, for PR Application column, still In Process, but with this new line
2. We sent ABCD a letter on July 3, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your Ecas will update soon .
Thanks much @robertp

So finally the time has come. My ecas is available and I am also able to link my application to myCIC
@YULIA-2016 . Please update row 117, province ON. ecas and myCIC available. Application received May 10th

One more important point for myCIC link, if your spouse is not a co-signer, do not include her/him and kids in count. For e.g in my case I was not able to link using count as 3 (me, my wife and my mother) but was successful using count as 2 (only me and my mom whom I am sponsoring). My wife is not a co-signer.

do not count your spouse if she is not a co-signer.
Formul to count family member is [Sponsor + co-signer] + [PA + Dep]
in your case [1+0]+[1+0] = 2

@macwhitby I have no clue where to get the UCI number from ? I didn't receive the AOR email yet. My application was sent on May 16. I believe it reached their on 17 because I sent it by express post and I tracked it, it was picked up at this date.

You have to wait. People from May 10th only able to check their eCas. Considering the late influx of applications, you might be able to see something in next 2-3 wks.

Hi all who received the bio-metrics request,
Could you please share if your parents were in Canada at the time you applied for sponsorship?
Did you put Canadian address as their current address in the application? (This probably the key for them to identified if the applicant is in Canada or not)

Thanks....

Address issue is irrelevant. If they are in Canada, they have to leave Canada to do that. If anyone is unable to do that within 30 days, they better check with IRCC for extensions.

No exceptions, no turn around , you have to leave Canada or ask for extension once you received the request
