Congrats to those who received biometrics request!
Does any of you have their parents here with them? and what is your plan for biometrics as it cannot be done in Canada?

My parents are here until the end of this month, I submitted my application on June 16, so if I have a request for Bio, I will change the flight ticket otherwise, hopefully bio request will be sent by the end of July when they are returning to their home country.

Nothing on ECAS for me yet. I did call CIC on the 26th and confirmed they received my app but the rep said there was "no temporary number" and that I had to wait until I receive an email.
I do realize she was bs'ing me but after being on hold for 50 minutes I settled for getting her name and screen shotting my call log with date and time.
It will get updated when it gets updated...

I did call them several times. The temp FN had been provided in May. You know, the '"standard response" has always been given that your file has not been opened yet. We will send you AOR once the files have been confirmed completed. Basically, useless response......

My mum is in Canada, application submitted May 6th. I am quite worried as to what to do once we get the request.
Keep me posted if you find any solution to the situation.

Yes. But we moved once (between submit interest to apply and submit of complete application).
We provided proof of offical address change (upon request of addition information from IRCC).
So we guessed that they want to make sure our new mailing address is "real".

I created an account in mycici but can not link it. That’s why I have no update on my file.

Is your case straight forward or was there any mismatch between EOI and Application ?

@YULIA-2016, My in-process date is wrong in sheet for line#30. in-process date 26June, eCAS status date 31st May, Linked application on 1st June.

I can't believe the "no temporary number" bs. temp number was provided by agents even to those who submitted in mid-June..
