I can argue with you, but their is no point. Whatever suits you.It is most definetely a full time job that is UNPAID. Hence why it is included in options in some CIC forms.

As long as the diabetes is not very severe which has caused issues to organs like her kidneys it shouldn’t be a big issue. Yet again, the fact that her husband is to ill to sign his name and I believe has cancer is the bigger issue.Do u know what kind of disease.my mom has diabetes and hyperthyroidism that she takes medication.
Last year the processing time was really fast compared to previous years. Considering spousal sponsorship takes around 1 year don’t think PGP applicants will be faster than 6 months. 6 months is very fast and only a few will be processed that quickly. 6 months to 2 years is already considered fast processing.I hope current govt will clear cases faster than last year and early submitters must start arranging accommodation for pgp. Such opportunity rarely comes. In the past people have waited 5 to 10 years for pgp. And I doubt such opportunity will come again.
PGP is structured in a way that both parents must be sponsored at one time initially so people can’t sponsor one parent and then sponsor the other through spousal sponsorship. Because of the lack of medical inadmissibility clause when sponsoring spouses all parents with serious illnesses would just sponsor the healthy parent and then the healthy parent would sponsor the unhealthy spouse. Both your parents must pass the medical even if only one wants to come to Canada. If one of the parent is not sponsored due to health reasons. What are the chances they will be accepted through spousal pr ?
Yes we should be grateful as Canada have some sort of process. If you live in our neighboring USA, you can bring all your family members under their family immigration system.PGP is a humanitarian program, unfortunately many of us tends to think it is a right for us to have PGP, we should be grateful that at least Canada still have this unique opportunity for our parents to become Canadians
Home maker should be considered as job because remuneration is not paid in cash but by other modesIt is most definetely a full time job that is UNPAID. Hence why it is included in options in some CIC forms.
Hmmm the problem with that is it would mean CRA will want you to pay taxes on the remuneration received.Home maker should be considered as job because remuneration is not paid in cash but by other modes
Should be ok. Homemaker is not a job

Yes we should be grateful where 100k+ people tying for a lottery in last three years and this year through a chicken race to get a slot in the 20000 list.
Yes we should be grateful that after bringing them in here, we will be financially responsible for them for the next 20 yrs. The only thing you will get anything out from the Govt is the health care. And only people know when you need it, how bad it can get here.
Yes we should be grateful that when the parents will come here, you will considerably increase your expenses and govt will also get more taxes and for many families it will open the door for you or your family members to go for a job, more taxes for the Govt.
Thanks Canada.

PGP applicants benefit from more than healthcare and healthcare is definitely a huge benefit. Parents can make use of most services plus the infrastructure, if younger family members come with parents they receive schooling, domestic tuition at post secondary institutions, etc. Most parents or grandparents will never work, purchase housing so pay their own property taxes, etc. If PGP isn’t great why is there such a demand for it? People could just keep using a supervisa. After 20 years parents, most of them who have never worked, will receive OAS and GIS. Other than sales tax most families tax payments will not increase. The cost of PGP candidates cost much more than the taxes they bring in.Yes we should be grateful as Canada have some sort of process. Bro, my comment was in a response from the previous poster who is saying that this in humanitarian program. Which it is not. Family re-unification is the core for Canadian immigration system and I am showing what they have in the south of the border simply.PGP applicants benefit from more than healthcare and healthcare is definitely a huge benefit. Find it pretty ironic that you have applied for PGP if you don’t feel that it is beneficial and will increase your expenses.
That's your opinion. Everyone posting here based on their previous experience with CIC and their own opinion. Not anyones job to police this forum, but just an observation. These / such comments are not inline with the focus of this forum. The ideas in these two posts also reflect poor values...
Totally Agree!Bro, my comment was in a response from the previous poster who is saying that this in humanitarian program. Which it is not. Family re-unification is the core for Canadian immigration system and I am showing what they have in the south of the border simply.
I have not sent in the application as I just received them last week. What choice do I have?Imagine the delay - an applicant has sent File set (Say) A, CIC inputs all data in the system, then Applicant sends another File Set (Say B). CIC has to figure out what's different b/w A & B, unnecessary delay...Incredibly silly, given the info is same on the forms. CIC has confirmed that old forms are OK...
I mean its ok to use new forms (for sure) if you are just starting to fill the forms; but if you have already sent the package / received original forms from home countries with wet signatures etc...come on!
