The question is for single stay at a time not accumulated. As someone else mentioned, it is for the purpose of requesting PCC. However, even if your mom stayed in Canada for more than 6 months, you will not have to mention it I believe. It is somewhere on ircc website. The reason, which makes sense, is that they are already going to do a background check on her, so they won't require a PCC from here in Canada.Hi, I have posted above question three times, how come no one is helping me out?
Am I posting the question incorrectly? Or is my question too difficult or too stupid? Please someone help me.
If you don't meet the requirements when you submit your application, it WILL be refused. It's not negotiable.Hi All,
I've just got an invite for sponsoring my parents for PR to Canada. One doubt I've before submitted the documents is that for one year my income was less that the Minimum Income that is required in the table and for the last two years I've double the income which is required.
Will that affect my application as they have asked for the last three year of T4 or Notice of Assessment in the requirements.
Thanks,
I printed off those two as is and stapled each form to make one document. For one of the forms the barcodes weren't even on the last page.My concern is about the barcodes .
we have 2 forms with the barcodes. how did you put barcodes?
for nick name , you don't have to provide it.The generic application form asks if she's ever used any other names. I'd put the other name there. Does she have proof of using both names throughout her life?
When i filled financial evaluation form . I dont have a co-signer and i selected NOI printed off those two as is and stapled each form to make one document. For one of the forms the barcodes weren't even on the last page.
---------for nick name , you don't have to provide it.
but if it is different in the docs , then you can have an affdvt
I would suggest you to answer question 11 and 15. And when answering question 5, it says provide details on the back. You can make a table on the back of the page and give his NOA for 3 years or indicate that he contributes to the household income. Also your family size in question 14 will be 2+parents you are sponsoring.I hope someone can help me with my question about form IMM5768E - financial evaluation.
- In question 14 where I provide information about my employment I am asked to provide the family size which is 2 (my husband and I).
- My husband is not co-signing.
- In question 17, I am asked to provide employment information of the co-signer. Since my husband is not co-signing, it seems that I do not need to answer this question.
I am afraid that one income is not going to be considered during the evaluation. Even though my husband is not taking the obligations to sponsor my parent, his income plays a role in our family. Also, because in question 14 I state that my family size is 2 it might lead to conclude that my salary is covering 2 people which is not true.
Is anyone else applying without their spouse being a co-signer? How did you fill out this form is this case?

"My parents that i sponsoring are divorced"ATTENTION QUEBEC APPLICANTS
I received the request to sponsor my parents. I live in Quebec. The financial requirements are different than in Federal (easier). Anyone sponsoring their parents out of quebec can help me with the following questions:
IS THE BELOW CALCULATION CORRECT?
--------------------------------------------------
Basic income required of the sponsor to meet his or her own family unit’s basic needs >> C$39,806 (family of 3)
+
Additional income required of the sponsor to meet the basic needs of the sponsored person and his or her family members >> C$61,278 (2+1 >> C$28,698 + (4 x C$8,145))
My parents that i sponsoring are divorced and each have their own families so I counted all of them as 6 adults + 1 under 18.
= C$101,084
-----------------------------------------------
Is this the right way to calculate it or I should consider my dad's family separately as a family unit and then my mom's family after that alone as a family unit? (minium required income will become higher then)

Can anyone please answer my questions.Hello everyone. I have three questions. I am sponsoring my mom.
- My parents are legally separated but not divorced. Is my dad still considered as spouse? As they say, you have to include your spouse whether they are accompanying you or not. So would he need to be included in the application?
- My mom is here on supervisa. She got a stamp of 2 years twice in the past couple of years. During this time she has been back home a couple of times. Most recent: Was here from April 2018 to July 2018. Then went to India for a couple of months and came back in august 2018. They gave her a new 2 year stamp upto August 2020. Then she went to India in dec 2018 and came back in feb 2019. They didn't change her stamp. My query is about question 10 Your current country of residence, in form IMM0008. I will be writing Canada but unsure about the From and To dates. Anyone has any recommendations?
- In the financial evaluation form 5768, for gross income, several people are saying to write 2019-01-01 to present in the first line. However, in this thread from a few years ago a very experienced member of the forum has gotten this clarified from ircc that this is how it should be. https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/tips-for-2016-future-pgp-applicants.333951/page-18#post-4832567 According to this the first row should be 2018-01-01 to present and gross income be NOA of 2018. What are your thoughts on this?
Thanks
