That's not what the Twitter reply said. They said valid interest to sponsor forms. You are inferring.

Do you work for IRCC? Why are you so adamant?

None of us really know what they will decide to do. Most of us who are applying are hopeful for everyone. There is still the benefit of doubt that they might just process all the valid applications they received this year.

Why spend all the money to process it all (as you said it is expensive) collect all the fees we paid. And then what.....return several thousand?

Those of us who are vested in the 2019 PGP are hopeful.
They promised the excess applications would have priority the next year so not wasted processing or fees. We have yet to see how many excess applications there will actually be. Could be quite minimal.

Hi friends
Now recent discussion is giving me panic attacks.
My application has been received on June 19, so I dont think it will make the 20k cut. But will they process remaining recieved applications in next year.
The time your application was received doesn’t matter. FIFO order was decided during the EOI process which is why everyone likely got a different barcode.

Ok in the letter I was asked to submit the June 2019 version

===========

IMM 5406 (for Principal Applicant): The Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) is missing or incomplete. Please provide a current, completed and signed Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) for the Principal Applicant and all dependents aged 18 and over, whether accompanying or not. Each individual must sign their own copy of this form by hand.

Sections A, B and C must be fully completed for this form to be considered complete
(Name, Marital Status, Relationship to applicant, Date of birth, Country of birth, and Address). The street number, street name, city, postal/zip code and country are mandatory for Canada and USA addresses. All other countries must provide the City, Province/State/Parish and Country. If you are unable to provide any of the information listed above for any individual listed in section A, B and C, you must provide an explanation.

You must submit the most recent version of this form (06-2019). https://www.canada.ca/content/dam/ircc/migration/ircc/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm5406e.pdf

Hi,

Please can you help me out as I received the same letter and when I click on the link for form IMM5604E or go to the application guide its still the same form IMM5604 - 09-2018 version cant find the 06-2019. Am so confused on what to do. Should I complete more than one form for each child of my parents that are above 30? In my opinion they are not dependents hence initially only submitted one form with their details - name, address n dob. Please I need help. thanks

Relax, these are all hypothetical discussions. Cic asked you to apply; you did. Now wait patiently for their official processing time. They officially said they will accept all completed applications whom they sent invitation.

The form is for the principal applicant and each dependant. If you're sponsoring your parents then each parent completes the form. Their children will be mentioned on the form but those children would not fill out a form themselves because as you said they're not dependants. I have a copy of the 06-2019 that I can email to you if you send me your email via private message here. Check that your letter specifies that version as my letter did.

Invitation sent to 26K+ or say 27k as against target of 20K
that mean they have sent 35% invitations in excess...
This may be because of the reason that they are expecting 35% applicant either will not be eligible...or their applications will not acceptable, (this rejection factor may be based on their previous years experience)...

The application will be rejected mostly due to ineligibility to sponsor... and in particular (not meeting required income criteria for the last 3 years and this may due to wrong calculation of family size... or applied just for taking chance)... Current year income as of today may not be a concern, if flow of previous 3 years income is regular/ consistent.

Application will not be rejected, if it is incomplete or some document/ explanation is required.. (my view)

On this forum itself we have seen some cases, where the person is not eligible but got invitation to apply...

I personally feel there will be hardly 20K acceptable applications..

So take a cool breath...

Wait, do you think they sent invitations to all 27000 submissions? I thought they will filter and remove all the duplicates first then they sent the invites probably it isn’t 27000 anymore.

IRCC has sent 20,000 invitations in April 2019 to apply. Once they will received applications, the IRCC will acknowledge the complete and valid sponsorship applications and remove the ineligible & incomplete applications. If a sufficient number will be short of 20,000 they may send invitations again out of the remaining 7000 EOI to fill the gap of 20,000. The remaining EOI will be carried over next year depends on Govt formation ( Same Or different)

If applications were going to be rejected due to mistake on family size calculation, we would have heard by now, I would guess more than 60% of the applicants on this forum had that same mistake due to them changing the calculation method from the information on the website to the EOI form
Don't create chaos just for the sake of discussion, an error in family calculation is an honest mistake, stating that you fulfill the income requirements when you don't, that's a whole different story

Someone went through the list of confirmation numbers and said there were 26,000+ ITAs. So quite close. Guess not many duplicates?

No body can think that 6+K will be ineligible entries and IRCC cannot invite more than 20K applicants. They have notified in their notification. It is upto us we can assume and share on the forum. IRCC is functioning with certain norms.
