Anyone here that filled in only one parent's name in the Interest to Sponsor form in January, got invited in April, and then filled in both parents in the application?
WOW did you say you called IRCC just to verify that the email is not what you expect as an AOR email? You are really wasting their time buddyThat is where I got confused because the email was sent from donotreply@cic.gc.ca that said:
Your application is now linked to this account. You can access this application from your account page, under "View the applications you submitted".
I initially thought that it is the AOR email but it is not as someone shown me a different AOR email that said specifically that application is received and in process. Upon researching and called IRCC it seems anyone linked to myCIC will receive the above email but it is NOT AOR.
I can use either one.To check status on eCas - did you use principal sponsor or principal applicant information?
Uff! This is just a generic email generated by myCIC on successful linking. That is where I got confused because the email was sent from donotreply@cic.gc.ca that said:

I am not one of the lucky ones that manage to see the ECAS but several people have answered PA for that question. Pardon me if that's not correct..I think it should be Sponsor's information.
Indeed!!!WOW did you say you called IRCC just to verify that the email is not what you expect as an AOR email? You are really wasting their time buddy
hihihi i wish i could give u a medalIndeed!!!
After-all, there are important biometrics related questions that people need answers for... RIGHT AWAY!!!
he has a right to call anytime and everytime he wants. As you rightly pointed out call center agents are not case officers. Their job is to take calls and answer calls. Just too bad there are so many of you anxious people who keep calling for insignificant answers just to calm your anxieties.Stop being overly anxious and ask Nonsense question to IRCC, you already see status on ecas, why are you still worried? People like you who repeatedly asking frivolous questions causing the call center to be bogged down and block others from being able to reach them, I have been trying to call last few days to as about biometrics requirements but never able to reach them because of people like you who ask dumb questions that absolutely do not help anyway with processing your application

Perhaps, just perhaps, @deerestlovelybear can ask the biometrics related question here to alleviate the pressure on our beloved CIC Agents...hihihi i wish i could give u a medal
I was not able to see ECAS neither. Maybe we could use each other's way to check againI am not one of the lucky ones that manage to see the ECAS but several people have answered PA for that question. Pardon me if that's not correct..
it if fine.. i wouldn't do it (as a co-signer), but it is fine...hi all, i have a question on PGP2019, if the sponsor is unemployed but the cosigner is employed and meeting income requirements, is this fine or does the sponsor need to be employed for the application to be eligible?
no the sponsor can be unemployed and earn nothing as long as the COMBINED income of the sponsor and cosignor meets the requirements.hi all, i have a question on PGP2019, if the sponsor is unemployed but the cosigner is employed and meeting income requirements, is this fine or does the sponsor need to be employed for the application to be eligible?
You do not understand his situation. Did you read his story? He has every right to be very anxious and worried. Everything is at stake. Call center agents are there to serve him/her and answer the calls when they get them.WOW did you say you called IRCC just to verify that the email is not what you expect as an AOR email?
