Do you guys know how long the medical tests are valid ? with these delays, are we supposed to do another round of medical tests ?

Hello Friends,

I am in a dilemma here. Application submitted on May 8th. Biometrics completed on Dec 6th 2019. Medical passed on Jan 9th 2019. Sponsoring both my parents, their application is in NDVO office.

However, on cic platform, it still indicates that Action is required even though we have biometrics already completed and biometrics numbers also populated on the top right hand corner of the cic platform. I know that there were some applicants in same situation as me and I was wondering what any of you have done to resolve the situation?

It feels like they are pending the fingerprints (even though this has benen done already) and on our side, we are awaiting for the next step from them. I sent them a webform last week and received a generic reply from NDVO office stating, they are short staffed and unable to process the request.

I understand the whole situation about the pandemic and being short staffed but something concrete must be done in order to proceed. I would appreciate some guidance in this matter. Should we re do biometrics again? Or take a drastic step order those notes on file and speak to MLA so that they can action something from their end and get this moving forward?

I am june 18 application and since Feb07, 2020 ecase is in process. No biometric medical requested yet . .. even don't know which VO is processing my parents application. I am losing my patient and very disappointed

Hello everyone, Any recent update from NDVO ? Are they working ? Waiting for IME and PCC request for my parents.

I received a response 3 weeks back that only Delhi office is working. CHandigarh and Bangalore are closed. Delhi too have limited staff. I believe they might be processing student visa files (if they are accepting new students this year). I believe we would witness some delay - 2-3 months atleast. Just my gutt feel.

At the moment our property is up for sale, if we sell it before we get our PPR request can we move to Canada and have our PPR request sent to our daughters address and would this cause any issues? Thanks for any help possible.

You can travel to Canada if you have visitors/super visas. PPR gives you option to submit passports in your home country or to Ottawa. Once you travel to Canada, submit a webform to inform IRCC of address change.

One of my friends has contacted IRCC few days ago. The IRCC operator has told him that they are still working on the files. I just do not understand why there is no progress yet ?

I do it almost twice a year for the last 3 or 4 years. I believe you can’t apply for supervisa inside of Canada. U have to extent her stay In Canada and You can do it online. they call it a visitor record

Yes they should be able to get an extension for their Supervisa. Make sure to include a paragraph indicating that they have a PGP application in process as well as include information about inability to travel home if that is also the case. They may b3 asked to redo their medical. If they have done a medical within a year you can reply that they have already done their medical and on what date. They will of course need to have supervisa insurance. Follow the online instructions.

Has anyone done specifically SUPERVISA extension ? Iknow the process but I have some questions who ever did the extension process for supervisa for their parents ? If they did please let me know. I would really appreciate your help guys. As they will have an experience.

No.. she didnot sign. In IRCC email, they dont need COPR copy -- the letter mentioned that COPR copy we have has no officer signature and should be disposed. Applicants should not sign that paper without the IRCC officer witness.
I just felt that it would be easier for them to making PR card with COPR as it has everything needed for PR Card (e.g. photo, height, eye color) so I just mailed for PR card.

Hi, I have received CoPR (Client and IRCC copy) in the mail as hard copy but there was no visa on my family’s passport (might be cause they are in Canada).
IRCC copy has their pictures on it. I didn’t receive any letter on what to do next, do you mind sharing details on what all you had to do so I can follow the same procedure.
