After submitting a document through webform, do we get the email/automated email?

I didn't receive anything on the spot. After five or six business days, I received a confirmation stating:
"We are pleased to confirm the reception of the following documents:
We have forwarded them and the information you provided to the responsible office for their consideration. "

Please amend Sponsorship in process date to Aug 23 and not Sept 23 on line#142. My sincere apologies.

We completed medical 2 months back, and last week we received email to send all pages of passport, Travel document, CV of my DAD, PCC. Has anybody experienced this?
We have not been asked for Biometrics.

What would be the next steps?
CIC shows Medical received.

Any help would be appreciated !

Hi, I went to the new link for tracking, and it seems like some information got mixed up - it says for my information:

Kayaker, line 237 -
Ecas status for sponsorship application - Decision Made
Decision made as per Ecas - Oct 3
LVO - Mississauga

The correct info is:
Ecas status for sponsorship application - In Process
Decision made as per Ecas - still waiting
LVO - n/a


I got biometrics request and medical request on Oct 2 and Oct 3 respectively, but no sponsorship approval yet. Still In Process.

As a Sponsor, CIC has requested to send copies of my old non-canadian passport, however i couldn't find that passport, its lost or misplaced. I have seen threads where people shares they received request to send passport copies to cic, is that for sponsor or applicant? I don't understand why would they need mine passport, its been 7-8 years i have been using Canadian passport. What are your suggestions?

I check that link but wanted more clarity regard the income requirement
Do I look at 2 person(mom & dad) row or 3 person(mom,dad & me) row

Also what if i do not meet the Income requirement is there any other way?

Three people. Parents + you. Unfortunately, no other way to sponsor parents.

I think, if you upload an attachment, you get the acknowledgement. If you are just submitting a webform with some info update, you don't get it.
