In order to get a rough idea of the time interval from AOR to IP based on the tracking sheet, should I only be looking at people whose parents are from same country as my parents?

Webform. I used that and they provided acknowledgement in 1 week.

I have a question about the AOR letter. My father's name is the only one listed in the letter. I both sponsored my father and mother.
Is this okay? Maybe because my father is the principal applicant and my mother as the dependent?

I called CIC couple times and they are saying that file have been received and provided me temporary file number starting with X but I can’t open ECAS.
File was received on May 31st.

How long should I wage for email notification?

with Temp file # you cannot check Ecas.
they will remove X ones they put your file in online system. no ETA but soon you will get update if CIC not requested any missing / additional form / documents.

@robertp I called CIC today and was told that my file was received on June 4th, 2019 and was given a temporary application number. I was also told that my application was reviewed for completeness on Sept 4th, 2019 and it is complete, with a note "ready for creation" which means that they will activate ECAS soon (no estimate time given).

I'm May 9 applicant and my application became in process since July 26 and no progress afterwards.
I was on the phone with CIC today and the agent confirmed that as shown on my CIC account, my background check is still in process.

I wonder if other applicants who are stuck in process like me (longer than other applicants) see the same status on their myCIC account?

Does CIC check background for both the sponsor as well as parents+dep at this stage? This is what the call center agent told me but doesn't make sense!

Nothing makes sense to me! Some are just plain unlucky like myself!!!
