I got mine in sponsor's email inbox. You can always check your ECAS if you are not sure. IME request comes with the instructions which is uploaded into you ECAS account.Do they send the IME request in the primary applicant's email address or sponsor's email address?

Mexico is the visa office for Brazil. Your parents have been visiting you in Canada but should still have a home base in Brazil.Hi @robertp and @YULIA-2016! I have just received the SA letter from my lawyer, but the letter's date is from yesterday. My LVO is Mexico!
My family and I have never lived there, we are originally from Brazil but have been living in Canada since 2015. I saw that @diegosolano also had his file transferred to Mexico LVO although he is from Venezuela. @diegosolano, have you lived in Mexico?

LVO: Mexico
Thank you!
Could you please share with what imformation you linked your application?Yes , I linked the application yesterday
If they are actually caring for their 80 year old parents parents it doesn’t seem possible to leave them for months at a time.I think the residency can be easily maintained through 5 years, do the math:
You only need to be here 2 years out of 5 years, that means 730 days out of 1825 days
They could easily come for 6 months every year in the span of 4 years and would still maintain their residency...
Of course, given that they would be out of the country for 6 months each year, they would probably lose the provincial insurance every time they leave and would have to reapply from scratch when they come back, but since the person said their parents have so much money saved I guess a private insurance wouldn't be a big deal for them ?
In the end, if the person's parents don't want to come here at all then I don't see the point of sponsoring them but to each its own

When I applied my mother was in India. now they send request for biometric. She just came to Canada last month.
they said if you are in visitor visa you can not do biometric From Inside Canada or POE. neither USA because only legal status in USA can do biometric from there. (My mother has visitor visa though).
I called customer service they said you have to send her back home only.
Please help help help.
I copy and paste letter so you may be get better idea. (Still I'm thinking for fingerprint whats the difference if she does from India or Canada. fingerprint will be same)
This letter refers to your application to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for one of the
following documents to come to or remain in Canada:
• temporary resident permit;
• work permit;
• study permit;
• temporary resident visa;
• visitor record;
• permanent resident application; or
• permanent resident card renewal.
Under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and its Regulations, you are required to have your
fingerprints scanned and your photograph taken (your biometrics) at a biometric collection service point to help
Visa Officers determine if you may enter or stay in Canada. Most applicants will need to give their biometrics at
a biometric collection service point abroad before they travel to Canada.
Only those who are eligible to apply for a work permit or a study permit at a designated port of entry can give
their biometrics upon arrival in Canada.
Note: If you received this letter you must give your biometrics before coming to Canada and are not
eligible to have your fingerprints and photograph taken at a Canadian port of entry. If you are already
in Canada, you will have to leave the country to provide your biometrics.
Why is IRCC collecting my fingerprints and photograph?
Your biometric information will be used under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) and its
Regulations to determine if you may enter or stay in Canada. Your fingerprints may also be shared with law
enforcement agencies in Canada and may be used for the enforcement of any Canadian or provincial law. For
more information about why the Government of Canada collects biometrics, how it uses your information and
how it protects your privacy, please visit:
