I wonder if someone agrees with me on this

IM5768,
Question 11: Your pouseor common law partner, if he/she is NOT co-signing: I put Not applicable as my wife is a co-signer

QUESTION 12: IF YOU HAVE KIDS, if you have to include them, if you dont have any kids then N/A.

Can someone please shred some light? Thanks.

Sorry, I am looking at the Notice of Assessment, is it the total income (line 150) or net income (line 236)?

They use Line 150. I couldn't access my NOA but I had my T4 forms for 2016, 2017 and 2018 in my email so I used those numbers.

Why are you asking this question now?
When you filled your interest form you claimed that you have enough income but how did you know if you don’t know the definition of that?

Got confused and I just want to make sure that I am putting the correct info in the application. Thanks, though.

Thanks. That gives me peace of mind. The order of the forms is exactly as required by the Document checklist. I made sure my mother hand-signed everywhere she should. The Instructions Guide said print then hand sign and date. Does that mean the date should be hand written too? All of my dates were typed before printing. This is nerve wracking
Date by computerized generated should be fine. All of my previous applications are like that.

Would you be able to assist my below question? Thanks.

If you are able to get an affidavit mentioning all the three names belong to one person. Its the one and same person affidavit. My consultant ised it for my mother for the super visa.
Can we get the affidavit from here in Canada on parents' behalf while they are in their home country?

Hi there, just to confirm, did you calculate the total net income from the Notice of Assessment or the income after the taxes?
you take income on line 150 of tax return into account and thats your gross income before taxes. Read the guide

No. Read the guide:
The back of one (1) photo must:
  • bear the name and date of birth of the subject, as well as the name and complete address of the photography studio;
  • bear the date the photo was taken;
  • The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are not accepted.
Yet I don't think that this additional stuff you mention disqualifies it. Just unnecessary.
Yes when we applied for my brother’s canadian passport, then we needed this stamp with guarantor’s signature. I called back shoppers drug mart and they said they have 1 stamp they use for both PR Card and canadian passport.
So I should just use the same pics and sign the sponsor’s sign in place of guarantor’s sign or leave blank instead?

I'm really terrified of the thought. I know for a fact that I meet the requirements to sponsor but I'm terrified that something like not putting the barcode pages at the front of the form will mean a rejection. The pages are there, just not at the front.

I sent my application quickly because I was extremely fortunate to be visiting my my mother when I got the invitation letter. So we filled up everything and I submitted. I got back to Canada at 2am on Saturday morning and went to the post office Saturday afternoon after checking that all the information is correct. The information is all there, just worried about that barcode page. Sigh.

NOT PUTTING THE BARCODE AT THE TOP OF THE PAGES IS NOT A GROUND FOR REJECTION. You're fine. Don't worry about it.

Date by computerized generated should be fine. All of my previous applications are like that.
