Medicals and PC requested on 11/01/2017

Still haven't been able to link application, even after contacting the London office. Anyone here got any help from CIC to link their application to the GC Key account, have tried every option but no luck.

Ottawa is busy with 2016 applicants who has medical expired in Jan - Febr 2018, ask them to redo medical again to get PPR
so don't be in rush to avoid repeating IME

when i called a few weeks ago, they told me Ottawa gets the simple straight forward applications and should process faster than other LVOs. well............that doesn't really work right?AS for medicals, i'd rather redo them, because they can be done in CA too, rather than wait and scramble for police clearance that is only 6mo valid. I don't know, by the look of it, no matter what we do, Super visa is the only way and it will stay the same for many years.

i'll worry when they ask for it. I am one of the Ottawa people, waiting since Sept. to move just a bit

I didn't call, but I sent an email. I received a reply saying they received the PR application 31st May 2017 and did not require any further info from me. They also added that they would not reply to any further emails on my case number. AKA "don't call us, we'll call you".

I've been waiting since June when my sponsorship was approved. Seems Ottawa is not the quickest at processing, I guess that is because they handle all the other refugee applications, etc. too

Hello Friends

I need your help in our PGP case and if you guys can share your thoughts\suggestion will be highly appreciated:

My wife and i both got selected in the lottery for PGP in 2017 to sponsor our parents. She got picked up in the 1st round and i got my spot in the 2nd round of application. We both work full time and had put each other as co-signer in our respective applications. We have met the minimum LICO for the last 3 years and both of our applications are underway with CIC. We both have received AOR and waiting for Sponsorship Approval along with the remaining procedure. Now all on a sudden the company my wife work for has announced that they are going to lay off a large number of their workforce and offered a buy out package which covers almost a year worth salary for her. Now we are concerned on the below if you anyone can share your thoughts:

- Does AOR mean we are good in terms of our income?
- Will IRCC verify our employment?
- Will IRCC accept the buy out amount against our income level?
- Since we have met the LICO for the Y 2014, Y2015 & Y2016 will IRCC verify current income?
- Does IRCC needs to know the current status of our employment? or do we need to notify them on this change?

Please let me know what are thoughts folks and we will highly appreciate.

You are good when you get SA only. They might ask you NOA for 2017. they are not care about ur status, they are care about line 150 of NOA

I applied for sponsoring my parents in 2017 and my application was accepted. Also, I am pretty sure I meet LICO for 2014/2015/2016 as well.
Looking at the future, there is a good possibility I will work for an american company but still living in Canada for at least one more year. I guess that's ok. But after one year I may be asked to relocate to the US office.
My question is:
Would that affect my application in any way ?
Does it matter if I am in the US or Canada after the application has been submitted ?

since you can provide them NOA after request - you are good so at least for 2017 and 2018 all good. I'm sure you will get PPR till 2019

If you check your E-cas, what do you have under Sponsorship Application Status? In process or Application received? if it is In process, you can click on the status and check since when CIC started processing your application.

if it is in process, this will give us an idea the time it takes to process currently the SA (it will be more than a week for me, was expecting a quick answer once they started processing the SA.
