Can someone please let me know how much time they gave for landing after the PR visa is stamped? Is it before the medical expires or is it new time line started after visa stamping date? Thanks

Yes, they must land before the expiry date - usually one year after medical exam date or passport expiry date whichever comes first.

Hi All,

I got the medical request forms in myCIC on July 17th for my parents.
The appointment is booked and medical will be done soon.

But also we got an email from NewDelhi Visa Office on July 15th stating below:-

PLEASE DO SEND THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS: confirmation of medical exam form, copies of RPRF receipts, police certificates for you and your accompanying family members.

I am not able to find anywhere in myCIC where can I attach police certificates or RPRF receipts.
Do the uploads appear after medicals are passed ??

Please help if anybody has got the same request from NDVO and how to proceed??

My parents background check status changed to - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

They also have requested IMM5562 for my mom and CV for my dad today.

Submitted both document online today .

Anyone from the first round PGP 2017 that was not yet asked for Police Reports? In my case they passed the medicals, then no movement on the application whatsoever.

I just received a message in my account saying that my mother's file has been transferred to Hong Kong office for further review. We submitted our application to the Ottawa office and now is in the background check process. We have submitted all documents requested and my mother is currently in Canada waiting for PPR. It is weired that the application got transferred out of Canada.

Did anyone have the same experience?

Just a quick question ... I have not been able to connect the application online with myCIC ...

London office has sent email requiring: newly filled schedule A (imm5669), police certificate and medical ...

Can I just reply to that email and attach all the documents required? or do I have to send them through mail (tight timing just 30 days given) ...

Please reply back soon if you have attached the documents in email and CIC received them ...

Just small update for my application:

Medical Exam request received: July 26
Medical Exam done: July 30
Pre-Arrival Letter received: July 27

Quick question here

- Does Pre-Arrival letter even indicate anything ?
- In spreadsheet, I see people phrase "IME Passed". How would you know if you passed or not ?
the doctor told my parents result will be send to CIC via internet in 7-10 days if nothing major health issue discovered...

I checked My CIC to IME passed.
