Hello all, applied for parents visit visa from India.

Applied: Sep. 21, 24

Bio. Updated: Sep. 26, 24

Eligibility Completed on tracker: Dec. 09, 24

As of now background in processing, overall status in Progress on tracker.

Called IRCC agent this morning and agent clearly mentioned that Eligibility is Passed, Background is Passed, everything is in good status as of now and it’s in process.

What are the chances of approval?

Based on info posted nobody will be able to give you any idea. It was not refused outright so that is a positive but they are going through normal processing and VO will make a decision at the end.

Background still in progress but when I called IRCC they said it’s completed

waiting for decision still

Similar situation but applied in December 2024.
Applied: 24 Dec
Biometric: 27 Dec
Eligibility Completed: 10 Jan
Background is in progress
