Parental Sponsorship Processing Time

Hi everybody,

I don't know how should I check the processing time for assessment of my mom's application at Ankara's office. Her application is in-process for her permanent residence requirements. Does anybody know how long is the process at Ankara for parental sponsorship application?

This is an application to sponsor a parent for PR as the website quotes years for processing. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/index.asp when was the application submitted ?

Yes, this is an application for PR ( sponsorship). I submitted the application in 2011 and I have received a letter a month ago which I am eligible for sponsorship and they transferred the application to Ankara's office. There is no schedule for approximate processing time

IRCC often rechecks financials throughout the process. As per your other post, you were thinking about having a child during the process. You would need to update IRCC when the child was born, so they would definitely recheck your financials to ensure you continued to meet LICO.

Yes - sometimes they check and sometimes they don't. Impossible to say what will happen in your case.
