Parent Visitor Visa questions

Hi All,


I am applying a visitor visa for parent and have a few questions,


[Do you have proof of your relationship with the person who is inviting you to Canada?] =>
What are the documents a parent will have to submit to prove relationship?


[Do you own a business in the country where you currently live?] =>
My father is doing a small business and does not have any government-issued registration document. Is Tax return (Indian tax department) or Current Bank account are enough documents to submit?


[Do you depend on someone for financial support?] =>
Does this question in the context of trip expense? My parent does not need financial assistance for regular costs but cannot afford to have Canada visit cost on their own.


[Are you giving someone access to your application?] =>
I will be applying for a parent’s visa. Should I answer yes?

Proof of Relationship : Copy of your passport is sufficient as the biodata page will have the name of your parents.
Business documents: Registration documents like Trade License or GST registration certificate go a long way in proving your business credentials but ITR's and a current account may also be considered.
Financial: Your parents may find it difficult to get approval if they cannot prove that they have the means to undertake this trip. My advice is to build up their savings so that they can prove their financial capacity and then apply.

Your birth certificate will do because it contains your parent's names.
