Hi All,

My Mother visa was rejected based on not sufficient proof of funds. "You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your or your host's income and assets." we had submitted my brothers financial documents (he is a citizen in canada) and we did not upload my mother proof of funds. I am guessing that the reason it got rejected.
I did write an email to CIC (the email address they provided on the rejection letter) and attached my mum's bank statements asking them to consider it.

My question :
1. will they accept the bank statement I sent on email and continue the application?
2. Do I need to submit a fresh application?

You cannot make an appeal once the decision is made. You can only attach documents if the application is still in process. This means you need a new application.

Was your brother the one who was inviting her for supervisa or cosign the application? Did he provide his notice of assessments that show he meets the minimum required income threshold for the number of members in his family plus your mother?

Yes, He(my brother) invited her for supervisa and His income statement with his wife was above the threshold. My brother did not cosign the application, I didn't even know that was a thing in the application, I filled the online form for my mother.

But I cannot see any message for passport request under my mom's application. Is there any chances of delay to receive the message?

Yes, there are cases that the primary gets to be processed first. Just wait.

Just confirming that you included proof that you earned the LICO amount on your NOA. It seems like you only recently arrived. Your potential income is not enough.

Hello Everyone
I am new to this forum. I recently applied for my parent's supervisa and yesterday I got the final decision that their application has been rejected reason being: "You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your / your host's income and assets". My parent's showed total of $12k in their bank and I submitted my T4 and offer letter with my income. I am not sure of they are referring to my income or assets or my parent's. We have a house hold income of approximately $140K but in application I submitted only mine T4 and Offer Letter(no bank statement, no investments or 401K details) & not my husband's as he is new to Canada and didn't get any NOA or T4s. Please help, when I should reapply and with what documents for income and assets.
