Parent sponsorship

Hi,

I applied for sponsorship of my parents. My sponsorship is approved and my parents completed their medicals recently. My parents received a letter from cic New Delhi requesting my ( Sponsers) mark sheets and certificates for degree/diploma/secondary/post secondary.

I don't have a problem sending this but what I don't understand is how does this matter to their application? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Do they have any reason to question your status or documents submitted earlier when you got your PR? Or could they have confused somehow that you are a dependent? Really weird...
