Hi all,

I sponsored my parents with 3 dependents ages 16, 19 & 20 at the time of application (2010 June). When I submitted the required docs on mid October 2014, the two of the three dependents are now ages 23 & 24 don't have continues education but have odd jobs. I submitted the additional documents requested without any proof of continuous education and just attached a letter of explanation that it is not applicable since they are type A at the time of application. I received AOR on January 30, 2015 saying documents submitted are complete and in queue for processing. Now I'm just waiting for next correspondence from cic. I worry though for my 2 siblings....

Anyone have similar case and got approved? Please share your experience. Thanks a lot!

I don't think there's any reason to be worried. Your sibling's age was locked in at the time the application was submitted. There was no need for them to remain in school full time to remain as dependents in the application due to their age at the time the application was submitted.

Thanks for the encouragement Scylla. I really appreciate you taking time to reply. That's what I was told also by another member, as well as I have made my own research and come up with the same thoughts. However I was hoping to get more comfort to know someone else out there had similar case & in fact was approved.
