Parent Sponsorship w/ Dependant Child

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to sponsor a parent along with her dependant child, which is my sister? My sister is 14 and my mom is a single parent.

Provided you meet all of the requirements to sponsor, yes. Your sister would be included as a dependent.

Note that the lottery has closed for this year, so if you qualify now as a sponsor, you will need to wait until next year to submit the interest form.

Before you can apply, you'll need to meet the minimum income for three years in a row. Once you qualify, you'll have to enter the lottery and hope you're selected (only a limited number of applications are accepted each year). If you're selected, then you apply.

Hi there, im in a similar dilemna. I wish to sponsor my father and my dependent brother. I have read alot and found out that i cannot sponsor them without the PNG program. But if i apply for super tourist visa, will my brother be included in it? Will he be able to come as well?
Appreciate any advice provided.

No brother is not eligible for a super visa, only your parent. Your brother cannot come and live in Canada on a TRV but visit for up to 6 months. How old is your brother? PGP is a lottery that hasn’t been open to new profiles since 2020. It is a lottery for 15k spots and the current 2020 pool has over 100k in it.
