Paper Based Application - Got my visa in 10 days

As I promised,I just wanted to share my experience with my application.
I strongly suggest applying paper based,yes it may cost you more but that way you can be sure that your application will get more attention by the Visa Officer.I've got my visa in 10 working days

And guys ,if you have a low grades,a few years gap in your education, or something similar,don't worry,make sure you write a strong SOP in which you will point your positive sides and your future plans,make sure to include additional documents as much as you can which can help you to get your visa.
Also,about the funds issue,your funds don't have to be in your account for the past 4 months,I know this because I've put my funds on my bank account two weeks before applying..Just make sure to write in the SOP about the origin of your funds.
In short these were the most important facts regarding my application.I hope this will help to some one who is planning to apply.

Many many congrats!! you are very lucky ;D, and thanks for updating because it helps a lot of us.

I had just mentioned on another thread how the online one is so much more straight forward without the hassle of getting kicked around the diplomatic enclave, trying to get through security and catching busses in this heat. It's truly an excruciating process trying to apply for visas here. Do you also think the fact that you were applying from Vienna made your case stronger.

Either way Im up trying to write my SOP! Congrats agaain!!

There's no need to go to the embassy,I have just gathered all the papers needed,including my passport,put them in the envelope and I sent them via DHL Express,no need for interview or medical.I don't know how is over there,but in Europe the process of applying is quite simple.

can u share your profile....like academics ielts etc.....because i had applied for visa but i am worried due to backlogs i had(7 backlogs) but my overall % are good(68%) and i had written sop and attached my extra certificates which may help me.....

i got my visa in 4 working days !!
i personally applied on 18th may 2015 at vfs delhi...my application was forwarded to canada visa office on 19th and i got my visa on 25th and weekend was involved in these days...so i think its pretty fast.

Well the grades system in Europe is different compared to the ones in India and pakistan
