Paper application linked online after VISA

I applied offline for students visa. I have got visa stamp on 23rd April, but I dint get a Letter of Information in the envelope. I waited for their email for a week but CIC did not send. Hence, I thought by linking my offline application online, I would get it from the messages. Will they take it as a new application or just upload the correspondence letter there. I am afraid that it will affect my VISA. In my account it is showing my application is in review and a decision is pending.

So, Will they upload the acceptance letter or port of entry on that portal? I am just worried that they will take my current visa away because I linked it and gave them trouble :(
 
I also have the issue of correspondence letter i got my visa but i haven't received correspondence letter

Can you ask your consultant? Is it compulsory to get that correspondence letter? Since, it is written that immigration officers would ask for it on the website of cic.
 
It's confusing to them also.
Some people are saying it is important, others are saying it is required at the time of immigration. Have you consulted with someone? Where did you submitted your file?

I submitted to Delhi office. My consultant has asked me to E-mail Delhi cic office to send the letter. I have done that, after which an acknowledgment auto generated email is received. It says they will reply in 15 days. Lets see. Have you asked anyone?
 
I also submitted at delhi office.
And also send the email to cic confirmation message says thay will reply in 30 days. Keep in touch brother if you want we can visit to vfs delhi office.

I stay in vadodara, Gujarat. It will be hard for me to visit there.
 
Oh okay, i thought you live here near by. Anyways keep in touch for any update if you get reply from cic delhi let me know and same i will do
 
Linking will never cause an issue. There are threads by people who went without the invitation letter and were fine, there are also threads by people who were stopped from boarding flight because they didn't have the letter so check with airline as well.
