Hello, Have not heard from you for months.how's your application goes?
Hello!! Sorry, I lost access to my email, so I completely forgot to enter the forum! So last week my husband got the appointment for confirmation of permanent residence, and they sent me my passport with an immigrant visa for an entry.
From Agoust nothing happened but waiting, no more document asked, no more info. We exerienced so many delays, first one, an agent told us that someone will call to arrang the meeting for COPR, because our city is small, they never call. Second, thay askled for my passport like two months ago, but they really take time to sned it back, so I got in touch with my embassy, and they cant send my passport before the confirmation of the PR. Then we discover that all the delays were for bas comunicattion between offices. We talked with the agent who tolds us all the info trough mail, and she sent my husband to an immigration offices in the nearest city.
The interview for permanent resident, was pretty easy, just routine questions, like "were you ever commint a crime? "were you ordered to leave a country?" "Do you have any other dependents?".. they dont ask for money or proves, actually they can, but in our experience and as long I know, they never ask for documents, but better be ready.
Please feel free to write me a message or something, I promise to pay more attetion to the forum to help you all, because I know how hard id find other who went trough start up visa program.
I will be travel to Canada on Dec 5th, so I will tell you how is the landing!
**Answering you questions, yes the medicals is the last step before confirmation!
