Dear All,

Please help..

I am a Palestinian Refugee living in Egypt with a Travel Document for Palestinian Refugees. Given that I also have a regular official Palestinian Passport issued by Palestinian Authorities, Can I apply as a skilled worker via Express Entry and file an eAPR application? (I have already received an ITA)

Hi, I'm the same a palestinian refugee from Lebanon with a travel document and a passport from Pal. Authority. You can apply , no issues with that.

Have you applied with same situation?
I want to make sure that there is no harm in showing both documents since my legal residence in Egypt is based on the Travel Document for Palestinian Refugees..

Yes it's totally fine. I, myself am in the 2nd month post AOR. But, I know my friends applied with their families ad had no issues.

AOR for provincial nomination or AOR after ITA?

Thank you for sharing your experience.
Did you submit both documents in ID Documents section?

I'm based in abudhabi. My AD work permit is on my refugee travel document. But, I used the passport from the Pal. Authority (because believe it or not the travel document from lebanon is still not an electronic passport). So, I had to upload both passports.

You work in Abu Dahbi, and they issue you a work permit based on the Lebanese travel document?

Of course, the lebanese travel document is the official passport for palestinian refugees in lebanon.
The one from Pal. Authority is applied for from the embassy in abudabi.

I just wanted to know if you had completed Schedule A and included it in your eAPR application, what did you write in the "Status" field at "Personal History" section?

I don't know how should I describe my status in Egypt..should I write "Refugee"??

Good luck to the both of you, hope your processes go smoothly.

Yeah or permanent resident

Hi Toni,

How did you answer that question, because I am confused about its meaning!

"Have you made previous claims for refugee protection in Canada or at a Canadian visa office abroad, in any other country or countries, or with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)?"

I am on the same boat. I chose Syria as the country issuing my travel document, but stateless as my citizenship.

Does that sound logical for you?
