Paksitani proof of fund to show in which bank????

I have opened an account in MCB bank showing more then required amount in Pakistani currency. I saw in some other forum that the Canada immigration will only want money in a bank Canada recognizes.
I have applied for AINP family stream.

Is MCB recognized bank?
How to find recognized in my native country and how to find it???

i heard from somewhere (not official source) that the money should be in a bank having branches in Canada or affiliation with some Canadian bank so that if u travel to Canada u can take the money out or may be in some bank which is reorganized by ANIP. Because in federal case its not a requirement.

I dont think so that would be an issue. Just send your MCB statement to Canadian Consulate and they will accept it. Besure to not go with a fake statement because consulate sometimes confirm the validity of documents.

Also, before you make your travel arrangments just go to a currency exchanger and convert your money into canadian dollars. You can take 10,000$$/ person and rest of the money just convert it into yours bank cashier check.

BTW MCB is a recognized bank and they do have branch in Newyork.
