My friend has got a deferral letter from his university, he has also sent it via email to the CHC. Since i have no experience relating to the deferral letters, so my question is that does the CHC respond that they have received our defferral letter?

No you don't. In case CHC wants any document from us they send an email but do not acknowledge the receipt of any documents.
