Asalamualaikum Hey guys i have been reading this thread and i want to ask i submitted my application by paper on 24-7-2014 and i have still got no answer from thrm but they have msged me twice due to system error to collect my passport ... but the person in vfs office said atill in isb .. so tasalee ki baat hai :O but i want to ask it's been 3 months and still no answer or nothing about my medical request ... is it normal for paper base application ?

hmm....ur minimum time is 11 weeks , u may receive a request for medical in a week or two. dnt forget that there was also law & order uncertainity in islamabad due to political turmoil. may be that have delayed the visa processing. bt i hope u will soon get some final decision

Brass last time indicated that the VAC office advised him that the time frame has extended to 16 weeks.....

I got my medical call in exactly 15 weeks.....

I received a message to check my CIC account. In the CIC account there is an email that requests my passport.....

Alhamdulillah they are responding in days now.....

My application is paper based so thats why i asked . And brass i have taken deferral to jan 2015 . I should wait for them to ask for updated offer letter or what ? I applied on 24-7-2014 .....

Hi

Can someone tell what are the next steps after we submit our passport to VAC, I mean what sort of emails, status updates or messages do we normally get from CIC incase of an online application.

today i submitted some extra documents in support of my study permit, i had applied for visa on 25th sept 2014. VAC gave me a confirmation slip and after few hours i got the following email:

Dear SHAHBAZ,
Visa application,tracking ID No. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. You are requested to submit additional documents to the Canada Visa Office,Islamabad for further processing. Please call VAC helpline number for further information. Please note this is an auto generated e-mail. Please do NOT reply to this email.

what this actually means??? is this a confirmation or asking me to submit something?

Can anyone tell me that how we get a medical call if our application is approved? Either through email or do they call us on our provide telephone/mobile no for paper-based applicants?

An application can't be approved until You get a medical and you pass it.

It only happens if your medical is waived
