This is so frustrating that it has been almost more than two months and I haven't heard anything.

I am an online applicant filed my case on 13th august.

Can anyone tell (online applicants) when did you applied and have you received any updates?. Which online applicants are getting decisions(medical, refusal, additional doc req etc.) and when did you applied?. Just wondering when my turn will come.

CHC Islamabad is so lazy I wish i had applied for new Zealand or Australia. Now i am in the middle of nowhere.

If someone got refusal after waiting for so long who is responsible?.

One last thing, does anyone can confirm where online applications are being processed ?either in Islamabad or somewhere else.

I applied online on 8th June and got medical and updated admission letter request (for deferral) on 21 Sept, after waiting for 15 Weeks. Nothing after that and it has been more than 19 weeks now.

According to the information from my Uni's visa help service, online applications can be processed anywhere depending on the load on the visa office. So can't say, if ours are being processed at Islamabad, Ottawa or somewhere else.

Secondly, their mentioned average processing time is 12 weeks while general practice is 13/14 weeks on average. :-X

This year, online and paper based applications have been processed in different time frames. For Paper based applications, you can expect 14 weeks or less and for online applications, it is now taking over 19 weeks.

My 14 weeks are up... not falling in the average or above average processing times either!
My session was supposed to start in September. They didnt give me visa then.. and I had to defer. What you have to say about that!! :o >:( :(
Mojan maro because we cant do anything ;)

Thank you for sharing this information.

I wonder why would they be handing over the cases to other CHC who have more processing average than CHC Islamabad.

Because you are exceptional SG.. :P

I am just sharing the information that I gathered using the website and some forums, not advocating CHC.

Btw, average 13/14 weeks processing time could not be applied for the cases submitted on 13th July for the courses commencing in September..... :-X

Sharp12, have you sent any inquiry to CHC regarding your visa application?

Askani, were you asked to submit your Police Character Certificate as well?

Thanks bro. Yes I had attached my all passports and travel history in a single pdf file and sent it through case specific enquiry. I am going to vac tomorrow too.

Yes I did. Twice before getting medical call, to which they replied with generic emails they send everyone, saying your application is in process.

I sent them another inquiry 3 weeks after passing medical and guess what they didn't respond.

Hmmmmm, I wonder how many guys would be working on applications in CHC.

Did you submit your Police Character Certificate as well?

No, I didn't. It wasn't required and they didn't ask for it. The thing is that they ask a few people to submit it later on and don't ask from some people at all.

Fair enough. It means I can skip applying for it before hand.

I don't want to be an exceptional candidate, would be happy to be a regular one as long as they grant me visa and don't reject. I made my first inquiry around 24th august. To which they responded that it's in process and under review. I made another 'general' inquiry on 6th October, to which they haven't responded so far. So waiting for 15 working days to end then I would generate a Case Specific Inquiry. I hope it doesn't come to that. Hopefully InshaAllah :(

Best of luck, Kuriyee!!

I am waiting for 12 weeks to complete so that I can send an inquiry as well....
