yaa bro firstly i want to say that plz hold patience jaldi nahe kro in casing file .. first u have to make ur case strong and make sure that there is no confusion in ur file .. make strong SOP and financialy proved .. inspite of running finance u should show ur or ur parents 4 mnths old account wid upto atleast 3 millions and yeh k apna dil saf rkho !! best of luck

I haven't received anything yet, I submitted my passport on 17th August after request. When did she receive this update? Today?

UPDATE:

My friend who got her passport and police certificate request last week received her introduction letter in her mycic account and the status of her application changed to "closed" and "approved"

Alhumdulilah this is great news but does she still have to wait for another email or msg to go get her passport? The people who are waiting since submitting your passports in august did you status change as well or is it still "open" ?

please help me

I applied with my husband(as dependent for TRV ) for study permit .my husband got medical request on 15th august but I didn't.

latter after 15 days I got courier from VFS where I got two sheets for medical.
I submitted my medical on 5th September.
my classes starts from 10th of September.
I got Email from VFS on 10th that my passport have been dispatched.
But I didn't get any email or LOI from CIC.

IS it rejection or visa???

Congrats, that looks visa to me. Start booking your tickets and also contact school and ask them possible delay of your departure. If they do not allow you to join later then obtain a defer letter for next semester. As far as I know only those applicant who do not provide their email address in their visa application forms gets Medical form by mail.

P.S: you will going to receive your letter of introduction with you visa stamps and passport

it will not make your case strong .. Think about this why do canada offeres study to international student because they pay 3 times more then their residents this is an industry they subsidies their people for studies they will not like this idea havin said that I will say u must apply but u need to think about two things I am going to send u in box read it it will help you getting visa .

Hi! There is a question regarding ''if I applied before to enter or remain in Canada previously'' on IMM1294 form.My father applied for family immigration in 2005 under skilled worker program (I am not sure about the category) but the case remain undecided and Canadian government closed all cases of immigration applied before 2008 last year.I have lots of concerns now.
1) how should i explain this matter on this form?
2) I have seen a lots of people who are getting rejected for visa because VO saying that he don't believe that they ll come back home after completing study,and the fact that my father applied for permanent residence in canada can also cause VO to make excuse that i ll not come back on this base and he can reject my visa,what should i do please tell me,should i consider another country for my masters and should not apply for canada ever?

In my humble opinion do apply, mention that your father applied for immigration and you were dependent candidate, it was your father who applied and no you, that was not your decision but your fathers, along with time situation changes and scenarios change, In changed scenario visa officers decisions also change, a candidate may be refused today but he may be granted in next attempt because he fulfilled the missing condition, there for apply and mention your previous application, side by side you can also apply for USA because they don't keep passport and make decision on the spot and deliver passport in two days. While Canada ask for passport after visa approval and block it for a month.

I am ready to apply for visa. I have 5 Million in my account from last 4 months. Do i have to justify that money ? If i do what if i justify with with my job savings and the rent coming from the shops i own? And one more thing. If i attach my job pay slips , how many of them would be enough ? i have been working since last 5 years. Do i have to attached all of them or this years 8 or 9 pay slips would be enough ? Thanks

yes, u need to justify, get a employment letter from your company, submit your tax papers of last year, few salary slips would be fine, on from each year for example, hope your rental income declared in your tax papers then also they will be reflected in your bank statements, also include rent agreements, all these proofs give strength to your application, have read somewhere on this forum that they rejected one application as the source of income was not given (indian candidate), congrat you have good job, you save 5m in five years. wish you good luck.
