I was just looking at the spreadsheet, and I think that online and paper applications go through different channels. Some of the paper applications have been processed in under 50 days and all online application are taking longer than 90 days.

Dear All,

I submitted my passport through VAC today, can someone please tell me how to track my passport? I tried placing in the tracking ID but it says invalid/number not found. I am guessing that a tracking number has to be placed in. I just have a tracking ID with me.

Can someone please guide me? Particularly someone who used VAC just for passport transmission? Does anyone have a direct number for the VAC office in Karachi?

Really appreciate your help.

ON 7TH April done Biometrics with upfront medical .
ON 6TH AUGUST got passport request. and today on 24th August visa stamped
God will never give you anything you can't handle, so don't stress.

I've also applied at Seneca college and I got admission there for bachelor degree too with the thanks of Allah might. I've applied for visa on 22nd July and still didn't receive any reply as its more than 2 months now. Can you please update me with your status? If anyone else having same issue please update here.

You can get land valuation certificate from legal state adviser of your area.

i have got acceptance letter from centennial college Toronto. my program is of 3 years. its written in cic that i have to show 10000$ per year for finances in order to get my study permit. so do i have to show only 10000$ or 30000$ as my study is of 3 years?
i have my aunt living there she offered me to live with her.should i have to show my living expenses as well? i can live and eat with her.
secondly i wanted to ask is the person showing the bank statement for me should be of blood relation or can anyone sponsor me for studies( not a blood relation)? and for how many days should money be there in the account?
i am a pakistani but i am currntly in new york and i will apply the permit from here.

yes you're right, but if they continue at this pace then most of us will miss our semester deadlines.

They have mentioned on their website that it may take 12 weeks on average to process an application. It may be more or less than that. However, just noticed that "f_karar" got visa approval email within 7 weeks according to his timeline.

I believe this backlog is occurring because Pakistani student permit applications are being processed by Canadian Embassy in London. If it would be in Pakistan, it would have taken 3/4 weeks same like India.
