Pakistanis Applying for student Visa for September 2015 intake!

Salam,
New member! Applied online on 8th june 2015. Its been over 45 days still no news. My program starts on 8th september 2015. Read on few comments that i can take appointment for medical without request. Is it possible?

I want to apply for Canada's Study permit for september 2015 intake so I am showing my father's bank statement . Only thing I am worried about that amount in my father's bank account is not consistent. He is going to transfer the funds from his saving accounts in few days. After transferring the bank account will have around $30000 CAD. which would be sufficient fund for one year of fees. My question is that do I need to show the bank statement full of $30000 CAD kept for at least 4 months and than apply OR I can apply now as I have enough funds to fulfil the requirement.
Would it be a problem if the funds are transferred to the account in one go instead of 4 months bank statement before applying for visa ?

Hello- Yes it would be a problem unless you show some property as well. Also, someone having a bank statement of 4 months can be made your sponsor by signing a stamp paper.

I am new to this thread. I applied for visa online on 8th June and at that time, I wasn't aware that upfront medical is possible. Now I am waiting for call but I was thinking if it is possible to take medical exam before the call. Can anyone advise? Basically, I want to speed up my application, so is there anything I can do besides waiting?

Hello- All you can do is to secure an appointment by emailing them as people are getting dates of late August for medical exam. If you get a medical call in the meantime then well and good if not then also no problem. InshAllah we all will get a call soon.

i am applied on 3 july for september intake.and gave biometric at the same time.i have 32 lacs bank statemnt of my father.i appliaed in seneca college for diploma and pay one semester fee also.i am affraid because i applied late.plz give me sugeeston and tell me what is next now.i did not receive any response yet thank u :-[

I just discovered this forum. I got acceptance and scholarship from University of Saskatchewan and I applied for study permit online on 12th May and gave biometrics on 14th May. I havent heard anything from cic and there is NO update on my application ever since. I did not get medical done as I was waiting for request and I recently found out I can call IOM and get appointment myself and get it done.

Can anyone give me information about getting appointment from IOM. I am calling but I cant get the operator. I should email them, what information should I give them?

Another question... does anyone have an idea how long after submitting medicals do you receive visa? My classes start on 3rd sept and I need to be there before that. Unfortunately I havent heard back from CIC for 2 and a half months and im extremely short on time. If visa delays just a few weeks it will ruin my whole plan.
