Hi,
1-you can send it directly from you but attested by your institution.
2-i am not sure about about reference but you can prepare it by your teachers
3-i faced same difficulty i asked abut my institution they told me they did not send directly then i just verified my documents and sealed them into normal envelop and send it to university. university did not create any issue and accepted me without any tension.

It means notarized copies wouldn't work. i will have to go to my institutions for attestations. how much time they take usually?

Letter of reference in a selaed envelope signed by your professor.
if there are 2 , then 2 envelops , if 3 then three envelopes (sealed+signed+attested)
similarly transcripts, degree, cgpa . signed by registrar
and same goes to proficiency letter
make it a SINGLE package ,
in which CV , SOP , IELTS and all other documents and Envelops

listen carefully,
1: take your university transcripts, get them attested by ur university registrar, put them in your departmental envelop, get the sign and seal from the clerk of your office.
2: all other documents can be notrarized, for example even the ielts.
3: preferably try to get an english proficiency certificate saying " that you have been a bonafide student of the institution and that the mode of instruction and examination in this university is english"
4: recommendation letter is very important so dont expect the teacher to write it on your behalf, request a clerk to print the recommendation letter written by you stating your qualities regarding the program needs , note that admission is quiet competitive so you need to make a good impression.
request your 2 or three professors to just sign those recommendation letters and give u their emails. ( only send paper recommendation letter not electronic ones ok)
5: if you need further help you can call me at 03314086300

Hey farhan!
Is it necessary to attest the documents also from university registrar after getting attested them from hec pakistan?
Do you think canadian universities accept english proficiency certificate from any public sector university of Pakistan like University of the punjab?
