In the website, canadian embassy officials have stated:
"A study permit procedures can take some time to finalize, it is recommended that the complete application is submitted 2 -3 months before the start of classes and no later than 1 month before the start of classes."

@bleachedaxe
I think every embassy of any country gives importance to the previous travels made by the applicant. I am saying this because everyone asks for expired passports just to know about his/her travel history. I believe that if one has history of european or american tours, then it is a plus point for his future visa applications.

It is definitely a positive point but not always! Final decision always depends on Visa Officer's mood! That's why prayers hold a lot of importance!

My dad applied for a usa visit visa for one month but got 5 years visa instead. He traveled there and had come back to Pakistan within due date i,e before 6 months period. He had visited USA 3 times.

Once his visa had been expired in 2005 and once again he applied for a visit visa in 2009 in order to visit newly-born nephews he was refused.

However, it is a good point to have visas of different countries and if u have not overstayed or anyhting of that sort your case is definitely better!

yaar itna matter nai kia...
Their was a guy whom I knew. He came back to Pk on tourist visa from Canada
and applied this year but visa got rejected. He still had Canada Visit visa which was valid for 2 more years but his study permit was not accepted. You just need to file properly . And he had Valid America and Uk visas too. And the reason was given he wont come back. Wtf , like he has returned many times
