yes i have ordered GCMS notes but i have applied before the arrival of gcm notes.
@qasim95 I got my CGMS notes , the VO states that I have slightly less funds (<500$ happened due to rupee devaluation ) , and I will be exhausting all my savings. No other reason is stated. Now I am applying again for visa. The problem is that McMaster did not differ my admit. I have Concordia admit and planning to apply for visa selecting Concordia. Will it be VO might suspect why I am changing university ? or will it be fine.

Hi everyone.

I am new to this forum. First, I can confirm that I do not have the following credentials:

1. No IELTS, never did in my life.

2. No Bank Statement, belong to a very poor family

I am a full-time student in NUST, doing an MS (funded by PEEF). I have some 6 months of experience to visit UK as a research scholar (to complete my research thesis, was funded by Royal Society of Chemistry).

Now:

I have been accepted into a PhD program (biotechnology). I have been offered:

1. A funding of $36539/per annum from university, but unfortunately, after deduction of tuition fees ($25883/per annum), I’d have $10656/per annum, which I can utilise to cover my living costs.

2. A residence for the first three months in one of the university suites (paid by my supervisor from his research grants as research fellowship)

I still didn’t apply for visa, and I am thinking to do this by the end of February, as I’d need police certificate etc.

I can see, you all are brilliant guys. You do have IELTS and personal financial support. I am in a situation that I can’t afford an IELTS. I really don’t want to get my passport stuck with Canadian Embassy as I do have another brilliant opportunity.

Please can anyone recommend, should I apply for Canadian student visa or shouldn’t?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Bilal

hey, my parents will be sponsoring me. They will show their 6 month bank statement, account maintenance certificate and salary slips. I will show 3 month bank statement and salary slips. The bank gave me an account maintenance certificate, but the branch name spelling is incorrect. 3 different spellings on the account maintenance certificate (header, main form field and footer address). I told the bank regarding this issue and they said that wont matter, the bank's signature matters.

So my question is, should I even attach my account maintenance certificate, since there is a spelling error and I am already attaching my bank statement, my salary slips and my parents are my sponsors. OR will the spelling error not matter and I can submit my maintenance certificate too.

Thanks

I happen to know a scholar(MS from NUST as well) who got his visa without any bank statement or IELTS. So you have a bright chance, I would suggest you to go for it.
Besides you don't have to submit your Passport if you are applying online.

Dear Muhammad Haseeb Javed,

Aslam o alaikum

Thank you very much for your reply, and this has given me a sigh of comfort.

Yes, I have checked the online visa application, and I shall go for it. Thanks for giving me such a great information that I wouldn't have to submit my passport.

I wish you very best of luck for your future.

Sincerely,

Bilal

i have done electrical engineering from NED and got a CGPA of 2.2 ( slightly above 60%) , gonna take GRE and Ielts test in upcoming NOV
need guidance about which university should i apply for master ( which has high probability of accepting me ) and how to improve my chances ?

Dear Jawad,

I believe, after you have completed a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, you’d go for a master's degree program in the same field. Depending on the university, a master’s could be either a research or a taught program. Seeing your CGPA (of 2.2/4.0, is that?), I wouldn't suggest that you apply for a taught program, as you wouldn't have any chances of selection. Therefore, try and find the institutions offering a master's degree by research in your field. After you have found one of such institutions, you should contact your potential supervisor, by sending him/her an email containing your statement of intent. Once you get an approval from one of the academics (to take you as their research student), your chances of admission to a university increase.

I hope this helps.

Yours sincerely,

Bilal
