My fiancee and I will not have time to go for a proper honeymoon after we get married, especially since I've started a new job and barely have enough vacation days to cover my visit to Pakistan. We're both fine with postponing the honeymoon until the spring/summer of next year, but I don't know whether the CIC will also be OK with that.

Our marriage is arranged, and I know that the CIC will be looking for certain things before they can consider our marriage to be genuine (the "rukhsati" or sending off being one of them). Is the honeymoon also one of those required things that we absolutely must do before I try to sponsor my wife?

No honeymoon is not a requirement. Not everyone can afford to go for honeymoon. Arrange marriages under CIC is normal, as long as you provide them with enough proofs to show that your relationship is genuine. That would include wedding/rukhsati/walima pictures, pictures of the two of you after the wedding. Even if you go to another city or "northern areas" together, you can still include.

Explain in details why you chose not to go for honeymoon, and also explain to them how the two of your were introduced etc. etc.

I am also hoping you guys are in touch. Send those communication logs as well.
