So does that mean if you get MR your application, NOC codes and everything was fine ?

Yes, most likely..you are at the minimum "recommended passed" by the officer and you qualify.

Here's my 2 cent after reading insane amount of topics on this forum for the past 2.5 years (My first application got rejected as I had studied without a study permit for one semester and did not qualify etc) anyways.

Once you get your Medicals - Your'e still in a limbo if your eligibility has passed or not.

I think RPRF/BIO locks your eligibility to passed as that email states that you have been found "eligible under the class you have applied for" then starts your security and background checks, which again can be anywhere from 3-4 days to even 9-10 months depending on certain things and uncontrollable circumstances.

Majority of Pakistani, Irani or any specific profile members get their PPR in about 2-4 months after their RPRF/BIO & Medicals.

Anyways guys, Once you get the RPRF, lets be thankful to Allah that we have reached that phase.

Sit back quietly and wait. The more you get worried and mail CIC, there more stressed you will get.

FYI: I was shit worried after my medicals that I din't get my RPRF...but at the end I got it after a month. Don't stress. It'll come.

Thanks for sharing the info, I believe it also depends on your name. I suppose some one like me with khan in their name would face longer wait time than others.

I agree with everything you said. The security in all likelihood starts after the RPRF. I do, however, think the timeline from RPRF to PPR is more like 4-6 months from what I have seen on this forum, trackitt and from other people I know who have applied.

I was wondering that can medicals be updated ("Medicals have been received"?) on ECAS even though your status might simply show "application received by XXXX"? Has anybody had that experience? Mine is not even under "in process" yet...

Yes. That's what happened with me.

Application Received - Feb 12, 2013
Medical Results have been Received - around Jan 17, 2014
In Process - Feb 03, 2014

Ok thanks for letting me know...that should be the next update I should wait for then I guess

I have another theory.

I think Medicals is a separate channel in their department.

When In-process happens, I think that's when your background and security checks happen.

That's possible too

.............................................................

It was a request to submit my RCMP!!!!! Imagine my feeling! Now I have to go find some police station..take fingerprints, send them to this agency in canada who digitizes them and then uploads them to RCMP, wait for them to mail it back to my sister there and then she sends it off to CIC..they have given me 60 days to do this..so hopefully itll be done..

But now i am back of the queue...Or they were about to send me PPR I think, but stopped me at the last hurdle..shoudln't they have sent this before like they did for everyone in November???!?!

Oh well, Here goes another hurdle i have to get through for the future of my kids
