Pakistani applying from Abu Dhabi, UAE

Hi, I am applying for Canadian Immigration as Federal Skilled Worker. I am Pakistani national working in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. I have a few questions:

Q1. Do all applications now have to be mailed to Sydney, Nova Scotia (Canada)?

Q2. Do we glue or staple our the Photos to the application form? I read somewhere that we shouldn't staple. So how do we organize the application pack? Any instructions manual on this topic?

Q3. Although its clear to me but just a clarification needed here. Applying steps as a skilled worker on the below page mentions 3 steps:

Mentions: "Complete these three steps to apply for immigration as a skilled worker:"
1. Read the general information
2. Fill out the forms to be used by all applicants
3. Visa Office requirements

Although it mentions step 3 required at a later stage but just thought I should ask we only have to complete steps 1 & 2 now isnt it?

Q4. In the application form it asks visa office requested. I live and work in Abu Dhabi, UAE but citizen of Pakistan. Which visa office should I choose? Although there is a visa office in Abu Dhabi, UAE but it only processes Qubec Nominess and Qubec Skilled Workers I think. Anybody is sure info on this?

Ans 1. Yes they will have to be sent to CIO Canada first.

Ans 2. No while sending application to CIO, Canada, pictures are not required.

If you sending file to CIO, please read the check list for CIO carefully first.

Ans 4. If you have been legally permitted to stay in UAE for a period of 1 year or more then you can choose UAE as your visa office for processing your case.

Your visa office will be CHC London. All who are in UAE, for immigration cases has to send full application to CHC London.

1. Wow I didn't know that pics are not required while sending forms to CIO Canada. Thanks for this tip.

2. Visa Office specific requirements come at a later stage isnt it? Not when sending to CIO Canada?

Yes. for initial app only follow the CIO checklist. Later when submitting to CHC London you have to comply with their checklist.

Thank You Imran. A few more questions came up while I was filling the forms:

1. Additional Family information form has to be filled by me and a separate form by my wife and another separate by any children above 18 years old. Or we as a family just have to fill 1 form?

2. Item 8 in checklist says "2 self-addressed mailing labels one in English or French and the second in the official language of your country". What kind of labels? What size/specifications? I didn't understand this.
